Position Title Project Director
Description The Project Director will oversee and direct all project management functions across GeoSoft entities. With 15+ years of experience, the role requires mastery of the project management life cycle, strong auditing skills, and the ability to train and guide Project Managers. The Project Director will serve as the central authority for project governance, ensuring that Geosoft’s projects are delivered with consistency, efficiency, and in alignment with established standard, business strategy and economic conditions.

Minimum Qualification
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Project Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6, ERP platforms).
  • Strong knowledge of international project management standards, governance frameworks, and audit practices.
  • Familiarity with market/economic analysis and ability to translate insights into business strategy.
Professional Skills
  • Experience including significant exposure to oil & gas, piping, and industrial projects.
  • Proven track record in piping design, stress analysis, layout, and material selection.
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and project deliverables.
  • Strong background in QA/QC, risk management, and cost control for engineering activities.
  • Experience in mentoring and developing engineering teams in high-demand environments.
Experience 15+ years of progressive engineering experience
Key Accountabilities
  • Proven track record as a Project Director or Senior Project Manager in the Middle East or international markets.
  • Extensive experience in the project management life cycle, from initiation to closure.
  • Demonstrated ability to audit projects, implement corrective measures, and improve governance.
  • Experience in training and developing project managers and building strong PMO capabilities.
