Position Title Engineering Manager
Description The Engineering Manager will lead the Hyderabad engineering office, overseeing multidisciplinary engineering teams with a strong focus on oil & gas, engineering designs & reverse engineering initiatives. The role requires technical expertise in piping design, stress analysis, and engineering management, along with proven leadership in delivering brownfield & detailed engineering & oil & gas projects. The Engineering Manager will ensure all deliverables meet international standards, project requirements, and client expectations while driving innovation and capability building within the engineering function.

Minimum Qualification
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Strong technical background in piping engineering and oil & gas projects.
  • Knowledge of international piping codes, ASME standards, and oil & gas industry best practices.
  • Extensive experience in project management and quality systems.
Professional Skills
  • Experience including significant exposure to oil & gas, piping, and industrial projects.
  • Proven track record in piping design, stress analysis, layout, and material selection.
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and project deliverables.
  • Strong background in QA/QC, risk management, and cost control for engineering activities.
  • Experience in mentoring and developing engineering teams in high-demand environments.

 
Experience 15+ years of progressive engineering experience
Key Accountabilities
  • Lead and manage engineering teams, ensuring operational and technical excellence.
  • Oversee piping and oil & gas project deliverables, enforcing standards and compliance.
  • Mentor engineers and develop technical capability.
  • Collaborate with project teams to integrate engineering solutions.
  • Ensure quality, safety, and project objectives are met.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
